'Crash (Studies)'

'Crash' is an ongoing series of imagined portraits of my loved ones that depict the subject of the portrait in varying states of consciousness. The portraits represent an attempt to apprehend this moment of semi-consciousness before the drawings, and indeed the subjects themselves, fade away.
